How would you describe your results (pounds, inches, dress/pants size)?
The first 50lbs was easier to lose. The last 30lbs was the hardest. When I saw I was becoming a new, different person – more defined, muscular arms, stronger all over – the journey was awesome!
When did you become unhappy with your weight (were you overweight as a child or did you gain weight as an adult?)
I’m big-boned, and have always had a big frame. It was during my adult life partying, drinking, and eating everything in sight that I began to gain a tremendous amount of weight. I got married and had a kid, and then realized I had to be a better example for me and my family.
What was the most challenging thing you had to deal with during your health and fitness journey?
I still like to eat a lot. So, being able to find the right exercises and amount of time exercising was a challenge to make sure I was still losing weight, burning fat, and gaining muscle.
