I have embraced the importance of health and fitness for most of my life. While my current main activity of choice is cross country mountain biking, I have participated in and enjoy various sports and physical activities (e.g., running, rock climbing, boxing and other martial arts, yoga, strength training, hiking, swimming, football). I’m also vegan. As an experienced online personal trainer, I have passed on my knowledge by helping hundreds of people reach their health and fitness goals for more than two decades.
With various certifications and an undergraduate degree, I spent several years changing lives working in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, fitness manager, and club manager, as well as a couple of years as an assistant collegiate track and field coach. My main objective was helping individuals embrace the importance of exercise and healthy nutrition.
My master’s and doctorate degrees, along with multiple years of industry experiences, has given me the practical tools and broader understanding of the importance to living a healthy life. I started Dr. Mike’s Fitness to offer flexible, convenient, and results-driven online personal training to help you make consistent exercise and healthy nutrition part of your life.
