My Background

I’ve spent my career working at the intersection of academics, coaching, and human performance. With a PhD and years of teaching at the college level, I value research, clarity, and evidence-based practice. My background as a hands-on coach—having personally trained athletes and individuals looking to transform their lifestyle—informs the practical, real-world lens I bring to my writing.

As a lifelong strength enthusiast and plant-based endurance athlete, I bring real-world experience to the science I teach. My approach blends academic insight with practical application—helping you understand why something works and how to apply it to your daily life.
